Personality will go right hereeee.Daughters of teenage parents are more likely to become teenage mothers themselves; this statistic has been told over and over to Cassidy from the time that she was twelve. She was always told that she needed to be careful not to become a teenage mother herself because of the difficulties that her own parents went through when she was younger. Her birth was surrounded by drama as her mother and father began dating while he was still seeing another girl. Despite rumors stating so, her conception was not during a time when either was in a relationship. She was considered a mistake but really, she was the best thing that could have happened to her mother. She was not the only baby born that year at Somerset. Kegan Conley and Dexxie Dexton were having twins - a boy and a girl. Milo and Ramona Conley were born on February sixth, The twins were adopted by Kegan's parents, Leonora and Austin Conley. Later in the year, Thalia Manson (later Conley) gave birth to Kegan's third child, Colton. Esme was always very convinced that Milo and Cici would grow up, fall in love and be a New York power couple with good looks, brains and hopefully wealth on both sides. She is, of course, close with the Conleys! Her favorite aunt Carol use to babysit her often and Carol and Kegan are cousins. She was fifteen months old when her own mother, Esme gave birth to her younger sister, Ariel Dallas Russel. Her mother graduated with honors and was accepted into a nice college in the area but she, unfortunately, had to drop out because of the stress of handling two young children. She became a stay at home mother which was one of the best choices of her life because she got to spend every single day with her beautiful daughters. It wasn't long before another baby joined the family - Jeremiah Jonathan Russel was born at midnight on New Years day and he was even featured on the news. Shortly after, she met a new best friend - Blake Kennedy. He was the son of her mother's ex-boyfriend turned best friend who he had barely discovered even existed. The pair were fast friends and her mother called them the 'terrible two' because they spent the majority of their time causing mischeif. They didn't always get along amazingly and spent some time arguing especially when Blake was staying with the family. Esme always said that it was like siblings bickering but Cici never saw Blake as a brother. She saw him as her partner in crime, her pretend husband during very well organized and forced wedding games and it wasn't long before she realized that she liked him.. Like liked him. She didn't want him to be with other girls or do anything of the like but she was far too scared to admit her feelings. It wasn't worth ruining their friendship. She was heartbroken when her family announced that they were going to be moving to Los Angeles, California. She was going to be losing so many friends! Milo, Mona, Blake, Coby... Everyone that she loved lived in New York! How could her parents do this to her? She battled every second of the move and went as far as to say that she was just going to move in with Dallas if they wouldn't let her stay. They, of course, weren't going to let their twelve year old daughter stay with someone else for that long so they dragged her onto a plane and assured her repeatedly that they would visit often and she could call whenever she wanted to.She started a new school with a bright attitude and she was confident that she would make new friends relatively quickly and she did.. But she also made some enemies. She was such a sweet girl that she didn't understand how people could dislike her but this certain group of girls just hated everything about her.She hated every second of living in Los Angeles after the bullying began. She attended school with these girls for the entire three years that the family lived in California. The bullying was constant and vicious to the point where she came home from school every single day and went to her bedroom to cry but she didn't know how to mention it to her parents so she kept quiet and just figured that maybe it would stop or she was just being dramatic and it couldn't really be that bad, right? She convinced herself that she could get through it and it wouldn't bother her because they were wrong. But eventually it did get to her.It wasn't all at once, really. It was a slow process where she started to think that maybe those girls were right. Maybe, she was fat... maybe she was ugly... Maybe she wasn't a good person and they were just telling her the truth. She started dieting and working out more when she was thirteen and she believed that losing the weight would make her happy but it didn't because she didn't see an improvement in herself. She saw an obese woman young girl when in reality, she was far too skinny for her own good. She was good at hiding her eating disorder from everyone around her. Esme now says how much that she regrets not seeing the signs sooner since she, too, suffered from an eating disorder when she was younger but she didn't want to see it. She didn't want to believe that her oldest daughter could ever feel like that because she was always told how beautiful and perfect that she was growing up but it wasn't enough. Her anorexia was never a result of bad parenting! Her parents tried their hardest to make the right choices and ensure that she was going to have the brightest future possible.Part of this was choosing to make sure that she had plenty of positive people surrounding her but she had lost all of them when she moved to Los Angeles.. Well, not necessarily lost because she could obviously call them whenever she wanted but it wasn't the same. She missed everyone, of course but her aunt Carol was her hero! She had always admired her and wanted to be just like her on Broadway one day but she had fallen into such a depression that she gave up acting which though it was always one of her greatest passions. She didn't feel like she could live up to Carol or her mother or Mark so she stopped trying but she assured herself that she was going to go back to acting as soon as she was beautiful. She was fourteen when she was hospitalized for anorexia for the first time. She passed out during gym class and was kept in the hospital for three days which was torture for her mother who begged her not to do this to herself anymore and she finally let it all out why she wasn't eating and how isolated that she felt in Los Angeles. It was decided to pull her out of school at first and have her attend another school but Esme realized something - she missed New York. She had grown up in New York and she wasn't as happy as she thought that she was and she believed that being back in their old town with their family would make Cici better. It wasn't a well thought out plan but it was something... Hope. She swore up and down that she was going to get herself healthy but it all turned out to be a lie; she wasn't better, just better at hiding it. Losing her virginity to her long time friend just spun her into a deeper depression than she imagined possible. He'd been 'the guy'; the one that she imagined herself one day marrying and that was how she justified having sex with him before she had a ring on her finger. He didn't love her though, not even a little bit and that just tore into her self-esteem especially when he soon began dating another girl. She had a boyfriend at this point but a part of her still wondered why he couldn't settle down with her when she'd been there for him since they were five years old. She eventually just cut him completely out of her life and she found herself getting better little by little.Recovering wasn't an easy overnight process; it took years for her to truly consider herself better and she still has days where she struggles with her weight. She's learned to better handle her own insecurities and she credits much of the process to her supportive family and friends.
