Landcaster University was established in the year 1896. George Landcaster was an honorable man, fair to all and believed that everyone deserved a broad and solid education. He was angered by the fact that one had to be a male of a certain skin color to learn. Therefore he decided that he would build a school for everyone since he had a big inheritance and had no idea what he would do with it. Landcaster's goal was not only to build an institution where people could learn but so they could also expand their knowledge. To think outside of the box. Yes, Landcaster's liberal mind helped many people through the end of the 19th century and through all of the 20th century. However, as many laws were passed it wasn't as easy for people to obtain the education that the university offered at a cheap price. As many universities in the United States, Landcaster became expensive but it is still one of the greatest schools for higher education in the country. Offering more than one-hundred majors and programs, different schools for each career goal, a great deal of extracurricular activities and clubs and comfortable dorm life and sororities you can bet your money Landcaster is the school for you.
