I noticed the date has changed to October and that there was some poll on (what I assume) different thread ideas
A silly little thought just occurred to me... Why not have a rp setting where students are in charge of creating a haunted house. That's not only for Landcaster students but the community as well. It'd be a big deal so they have to start preparing and planning early (being the start of October).
This way different characters would have to mingle, getting assigned to paint signs, do local advertising, build shit. Also possible for a lot of drama to go down, I'm sure with everyone's characters.
For example... Two people who shouldn't be talking are forced to team up and paint, when their girlfriend is jealously watching with worry. -gaspgaspgasp- A few characters decide to ditch and do their own "research" for the project.
Even the people who want to finally have a chance to use a teacher, well faculty support. Now you can use them to mingle with the students AND GET YOUR SHIP ON HEEEEYYY.
shit i dunno, just a start, I'm sure we all can think of fab/tragic things with each ship, tihi
haha, it's almost like a blind date setup, the teacher can assign partners for people who just volunteered to get the experience and don't really care what they do.
PFFTT. I dunno. Maybe this is silly and I should delete this right after I post it.

Random ideas for this, and guys I don’t really know everyone’s characters like the back of my hand, so please forgive me for not including more in this. Feel free to jump in with your own ideas too, of course! And to stop and change anything, I just want to get the ball rolling~!
I don’t think there has ever been talk of a student government organization, so perhaps in lue of that I was wondering if there is any character who is very much a “queen bee” she would be working in some of the development, helping the supervising faculty member.
Edit-- Nadeen is gonna play the queen bee, heh. Normally she wouldn't be so short with people, but she's easily stressed and it will play well for drama.
An idea for some drama I had was what if Flint/Joshua and Benny/Kelvin applied to do some music for it, a little live show for people leaving the haunted house—Benny/Kelvin get shafted so those boys are a smidge bitter. Why can’t they perform, huh?
Keagan and Kasten I can see being asked to participate in order to help build certain aspects of the Haunted House. With those two around, maybe talking about their time in the Military, Owen would (who also would have been assigned to this area) goes, fuckit. Not wasting time with this lot and drops his hammer, going to bother another friend, trying to distract them from their work, irritated.
Professor Alford, ohohoho, looks like you just got put in charge of everything, because I said so, Nara. All the stress will undoubtedly fall on your character. As a professor of law, I’m sure she is used to arguing and delegating authority. (Ps I dunno if you ever planned for a teacher/student thing because ohman. Perfect opportunity, whoever you’re gunning for appointment them as her assistant lol).
Jaden, from the one frat house party (from what I can remember e-e) seems like a guy who really takes pride in his work. If he were to get involved, perhaps he'd start butting head with whatever female 'queen bee' is in position there, then that stress would accidentally have him snap at Champagne? ...or something
Ughhh I'm reaching in the dark here, I feel terrible like I'm butchering everything.

Before I make this into a real thread, gonna post this here while I figure out how to tweak it and make sure its okay for everyone just to arrive with (also since I put two people's characters in here I should get their permission first 'ya?)
The first of October had been the first time Nadeen had heard the Halloween Project need a student head. A representative of the student body who would assume leadership roles, delegate authority, and act as a liaison between all the students, staff, and community. It would be a burden to bare, in addition to ones normal homework load. Ever adamant, Nadeen applied to the position. Once called into the faculty supervisor’s office she was greeted with not one face, but two. Professor Abigail Alford and Jaden Sawyer, a fellow sophomore, the two students met outside her door and entered the room together with kind smiles. On occasion they talked briefly, nothing more than a typical ‘hi, how are you’ when around the friends.
Typically, this position was given to a single student of senior status. Alford continued on about the current senior’s class lack of ambition and applauded the two before her. But, to lighten the young hopefully students she was making this role a co-op. They had equal power and would share equal duties. She also suggested they immediately exchange phone numbers and Facebooks, anything to put the pair in touch and on the go. This task wasn’t a simple Haunted House. It was another Landcaster tradition, all of which they prided themselves on.
This event allowed parents to bring their children or let their teens run free to a safe environment; the student body would have a /safe/ school sponsored party to attend following the Haunted House and was an all around involved Halloween treat.
Leaving the meeting the couple was given a large 3 inch thick binder full of details of businesses to call for donations, locations to hang community posters, details on construction, candy distributor information, and much, much more. Needless to say, from day one the team leaders had a heavy and stressful burden placed upon their shoulders. The following days, Jaden and Nadi kept in close contact, choosing other students to be on their support team. Individuals they hoped to see at weekly meetings and monitor the progress of the event. That had gone swell, until they established to officially have a meeting—something casual and fun.
“We can have it on campus, I can reserve a room in the music hall.” Nadeen suggested, figuring it’d be most convenient for all their members.
“We’ll have it at The House.” Jaden replied.
Maybe he was just trying to be that dependable papa bear host. But Nadi saw that as her job. She was the hosts who liked cooking and warming people’s hearts, the one who everyone could vent to and depend on.
That was the first time, their eyes locked. Nadeen’s pencil tip snapped the sound cracking in the otherwise silent room. Thus began the bout. Nadi’s need to be needed and Jaden’s alpha attitude had morphed into a most unexpected tension between the otherwise friendly individuals. Their comments could always be read passive aggressively. Ever since that night, Nadeen never wore flats around him, not even 3 inch heels. The girl who barely reached 5’3 rocked her 5 inch heels without batting an eye. She was read to do anything to even out their height, trying to diminish his image of being the more domineering of the two.
For their first group meeting, Professor Alford gave a list of possible jobs and names she had randomly assigned to tasks. This meeting would be to hash some of those details out (to find out if those jobs were really suitable to people), mingle, and get to know each other a little bit. The meeting would also happen to take place at Jaden’s frat house…Unfortunately. He won that battle but with the condition Nadi was allowed to come over early and bake. Nothing said welcome like freshly baked brownies, cookies, and dip.
The couple talked while, surprisingly preparing the baked goods together. Avoiding talk of the Halloween Project their attitudes seemed to vanish to chuckles of cooking stories. Though, Nadeen had taken a firm stand on using her recipe for the evening. If he wanted to have the claim to the goods the next time she chose their meeting place.
With staff arriving soon, goods set out on the table Nadi grabbed her clipboard, refusing to sit until Jaden first took his. The thought was doubtful, seeing as they both hovered around the door. Tall, dark, and handsome huh? Nadi pushed a smile to her lips, tonight was their chance to co-manage this bit. Make sure everyone understood their job so they could successfully pull of the event.
