Being a musical theater major took dedication. Many people liked to argue that preforming, visual and practical arts were generally for people who were lazy and wanted to waste their learning about something useless like, painting for instance. It really bothered Sean when people thought that way. If they only knew what it was to have to memorize and feel a character. He had to act happy when he was miserable and he did it very well. Usually when he portrayed a gloomy figure, Sean did a much more natural job, or so he felt. Only in theater could he escape the demons inside his mind.
That little voice in his head that only his sister knew about. They often shared their feelings due to the fact that Vanessa's life hadn't been entirely all that well. The Richards siblings were the best of friends and always had each others backs. Keeping secrets from even their parents because they feared that they would sadden them and make them think that they weren't good parents. Samuel and Valerie were wonderful parents, it was just that their kids were troubled. Everyone chose their own poison.
Sean had just taken a dose of various toxins that infiltrated into his mind. As a teenager he was very critical of his own work. He never felt the need to just leave imperfections the way they were but to fix them. It started out as a simple sign of determination. Something that astonished people because not many kids his age were so passionate about their interests. Needless to say, Sean was an immensely talented young man. He made people believe in him, in his characters and he could take on any given role. His poison you ask? Feeling the need to be flawless in his performances. Sean was difficult on himself. Often beating himself up mentally for making a mistake like saying the wrong line or stumbling in a dance number.
Another mistake that Sean had made in life was falling hopelessly in love. Devoted to someone who wasn't as interested as he was in her. Unrequited love. He had read it in the Don Quixote novel but never really thought that that'd be him. Tiffany George amazed him. She was a habit he couldn't quite shake off. It wasn't her fault he was so in love with her and he never blamed her for his dismay. He loved her too much to put the weight of guilt on her shoulders. Sean just wanted her to be happy, even if he would take a while to become as happy as he was before he had fallen so deeply for her.
Speaking of the girl, there she was. Sean had asked Anastasia where Tiffany spent most of her time around campus so he wouldn't have to face her. He had done a good avoiding her but now he was standing right in front of her, almost close to bumping into her. He mustered up the courage to say hello. He actually had missed talking to her, at least, the little conversations they had going on. "Hey Tiffany." he greeted, "Long time no see." Sean said, a warm smile on his face.
