APPEARANCE: Zandria is of average height, standing at 5'5, but she wears heels or wedges most of the time, anything shoe that makes her a bit taller -- the added height makes her feel powerful, and she likes that feeling. Her skin is naturally tan and her hair is long and dark, naturally wavy, so she doesn't do much to it. OVERALL: Zandria holds a big head on her shoulders -- she's confident in herself, or at least, she's really good at faking like she is. She's conceited. She likes to act like she knows who she is, flaunting what she's got and isn't afraid to show people exactly what she's made of. Dria is a show off, and she will get up in front of a crowd no matter where she is, and try to grab ever single person's attention with a song, her voice, by doing anything, as if she's got something ro prove. People have always doubted her through the years, so she's made it a point to let it be known just who Zandria Madden is. Zandria doesn't date, to put it simply. She thinks it's a waste of time and that people are going to go off and hurt each other in the long run, anyway, so, why do it? Though, she obviously has needs, so... she plays sex like it's a game, or rather, a business deal. Under the condition that the guy hauls ass out of her place once they're finished, she might consider having a round two. She isn't afraid to be blunt and set people straight. If a guy is too clingy in the bedroom or tries to set up a date after sex, she'll let them know she isn't into that and isn't into them either. Once feelings get involved into anything, Zandria's sure to run away. She's not trustful. Dria sees the bad in everyone and refuses to recognize otherwise. She pushes most people away before they get too close, refusing any and every offering of love or friendship thrown at her. She believes anyone she lets in will just hurt her eventually, so she chooses to end things before that's able to happen. Anyone she's let in deep enough would know how much of a scared little girl Zandria is beneath the surface. She fears everything, everyone... she thinks everybody is out to get her, which is why she holds up a mean front, to protect herself. As long as she hurts them before they hurt her, it's okay, right? Zandria doesn't stand down from a fight. If she knows she can take you, then she will take you. Confrontations, arguments -- hit her with your best shot, because she'll fight back ten times harder. She hates people to think she's small, defenseless, and she'll stop at nothing to prove everybody wrong. Her moral compass is broken. Though Zandria believes in going through a little hard work to achieve your dreams, she also isn't against doing things the easy way to get a step ahead. She'll do next to anything to get what she wants, when she wants it. She swears she's independent, likes to act as if she can take care of herself completely, which she can for the most part, but even in the most difficult of situations, Zandria is too prideful to ask for help. She could be stranded in the middle of a desert and still insist she can make the walk back home by herself. WHO NEEDED SAVING HISTORY: Zandria was born to Teresa and Michel Madden on the day of their third anniversary, and every year after that, they celebrated it as a day of love and renewal... Zandria's favorite day of the year. The Maddens were a close, loving family. They'd set aside a few hours every week for family time together, going on trips, organizing at-home activities. Zandria was homeschooled, so she didn't often get too many opportunities to socialize with other kids around her age, so on her sixteenth birthday, her parents organized a sort of "coming out" party for her, inviting their friends, coworkers, friends of friends, encouraging them to bring their children, all to get Zandria acquainted. That night, Zandria met a boy named Lester Fulton. He was a year and a half older than her, would be legal in six months, and was the son of her father's boss. The two got along rather well, sharing a love for music, often going on long walks along the forest trail behind the Madden's estate to appreciate the scenery and just sit, play guitar and sing together. Lester was a gentleman, carried himself well, which made a good impression on Zandria's parents, who began to invite him on a few trips with the family. Eventually, Zandria's interest in Lester began to diminish... he was around so much, to the point where it was too close for comfort, and she'd gotten to know him so well that, she just couldn't see it going anywhere anymore. It seemed her parents liked him more than she did herself, really. She discussed this openly with her parents, and though they didn't seem happy, they still understood. But when the time came for Zandria to talk to Lester, he refused to accept the break up. He didn't want to let her go. They'd been behind the estate, on the forest trail they'd always walk on, when Zandria tried to communicate those feelings to him, and Lester just wouldn't agree to any of it. She tried to explain in different words, but Lester still wouldn't listen, and he began yelling at her, telling her to shut up, and when Zandria wouldn't back down, that's when he first struck her. |
