Desjardins, Nadeen J.
Nadeen Desjardins Twenty Caucasian jasmine at Disney Resort Bi-Curious Business Management & Entrepreneurship I open out my wings of glass, HEIGHT: 5'3 WEIGHT: 127 lbs APPEARANCE: Nadi, is a rather petite girl—with one exception her hips. Small waist, fair chest, her hips however were forever (she she saw as) her downfall. For the most part she was well toned, active in both dance and yoga. Her hair is a soft wavy black, reaching to her mid back. Her eyes, naturally a dark green—often times she did wear colored contacts, bright blue circle lenses happened to be her favorite. At work, being Jasmine she worse brown contacts and a large black wig--that never failed to drags her down by the end of the day. C'est la vie. On the rarest occasions (or you were family, close friend, a roommate )you’d see her thin black rimmed glasses. Most often to account for her short height, Nadi did love to wear high heels, a desperate attempt to even out her proportions. Behind closed doors, she dressed rather comfortable in a band-tee, sweat pants, tanks tops and short shorts. In public however, she had a refined look to her. Most often fashioning herself with a retro appeal. If one knew her well enough or were involved in the cosplay or Lolita fashion community, then you'd know those were her fashion points as well-- an addictive expensive hobby. (She kept these clothes at her home, rather than on campus). Up and towards the wind melted future, LIKES:
DISLIKES:
HABITS:
FEARS:
OVERALL: In public she could be a doll, polite and kind, always saying the right thing. At home with trusted friends she’d let the real opinions be heard. She could be catty and spiteful on a bad day. And boy, she could hold a grudge. She beleived it was important to have a public face and private face. Give everyone a chance and keep the peace...But you don't have to hold in those feelings at home. On the whole however, Nadeen is a wallflower. Quiet and often observing, always building up those opens she’d selectively shared. There was the occasion where she would walk out on a ledge to grab someone’s attention. Nadeen felt obligated to have company in some manner or form. To those important to her, she’d always be there to offer support. For example Her junior year of high school, her boyfriend was a catcher for the baseball team. On days they were planning to have long practices or special home games, she’d make the whole team treats. Never asking for anything in return. Nadi loves to seize the opportunity to spoil others, sharing and creating memories was of the utmost important, you never know when you’d never have that moment again. As such, her iphone was nearly always on the ready to snap a picture. If any friend, came to her nearly anytime of the day asking for food she was more than happy to share her lunch or give them the extras she brought along. Nadi was never a letdown when it came to snacks. Sojust please don't go, HISTORY: Nadeen Desjardins grew up in the South, in New Orleans as an only child. Her mother a seamstress and baker passed away when Nadi was nine years old. The tomboy soon decided to change into the little girl her mother had always wanted to dress up. Not long after her father, a doctor, decided it was time to move and to start anew without his wife, back in his home town in Arkansas. He never married again instead, he married the job. Nearby her grandparents, Nadi learned family recipes and would prepare meals that her mother would make. Always trying to recreate the taste her father had fallen in love with. In her younger years, Nadeen had been on the heavier side. She cared little for the taunts of her peers. Still Nadi did find comfort in new friends in the new town, especially boyfriends. The male role at home would soon be filled! Her motivation for losing weight had become clear, men. Her father, receiving a promotion with new work, had the pair move to California during Nadi’s sophomore year of high school. Once again, the girl left her family, friends, and “love.” Of course, the young high school student attempted a long distance relationship, but she fell victim to temptation and the wooing of boys on the beach. Initially the black hair beauty hated “fun in the sun” California, she had pale skin and burned easily. Not yet fully in shape, she felt ashamed to be in a swimsuit in the beach. Not to mention Nadi couldn’t find any good Cajun restaurants or places to simply lay out in the grass. But this city had its appeal, especially as a growing woman. Developing and shaping up, Nadi blossomed into a toned woman. She was proud of her body, save for those cursed hips! On the whole she dealt with depression rather well, having had lifelong lessons taught to her at a young age. Family and love, was important. What Nadeen struggled with was loneliness. Father married to the job, trapped in a home alone, whenever she was single she felt at her lowest—a fault her grandmother repeatedly tried to correct. Without a doubt Nadeen applied to a Uni with on campus dorms, which thankfully Landcaster had. Not too far from home, she could still meet with her father (a daddy’s girl, after all), but still be surrounded by people at all times of the day. On the same token, this was why she loved to work as a Disney character. Nadeen was loved by many and around people seeking her out all day. She could never ask for anything more. Then again, she had been dying to be Snow White or Ariel, alas they had no open positions. Now, in her sophomore year, she is still studying business management and entrepreneurship she hoped to open her own business, taking her mother’s passion one step further. Freshman year, she had a few flings here and there but no seemingly committed relationships. One might begin to ask, was is Nadi who was really fearful of a committed relationship, the girl who pined over true love, and was fooling herself? Maybe. MADE BY AMLIN OF BTN AND GANGNAM-STYLE |
