After watching the video Nadi nodded, “You were fantastic, shhuga’ “her accent slipping out a little more than she had intended. “You really should invite me to more lives, I can be your photographer, daddy could get me a nice camera,” She pined following after him, agreeing that water sounded divine. Taking pictures of Flint and Joshua would actually be a fantastic excuse for real camera.
It wasn’t too often she pulled her daddy card out in the open, but Flint by had certainly learned of the girl's relationship with her father. She was the light of his life and spoiled. It was a man who lost his wife, never remarried, and only had the one child after all. Hell, the doctor even treated Flint to a nice dinner when he was in town visiting his baby girl (or Honeybee, as Julian called Nadeen).
Grateful there was water still to be found, Nadi took the water and had herself a large gulp. It was sweet after being trapped out in the heat. “Oh you’re a doll, now come here get a hug, and we need to take a picture.” Smell and sweaty, or not it would be a good one. Flint leaning down to her height, the party pair pushing their cheeks together while the iPhone flashed—capturing Joshua on the ground behind them. “Do you guys get to any encore show tonight, like a big Landcaster hurrah with everyone who preformed?”
She skipped the carnival last year, her freshman year, to shy and not knowing anyone? Nope, she had been nowhere to be seen. Unless you were at the beach, hah.

Although Stacy didn't seem like the type of girl to be alone for the most part, she didn't mind it. Actually she was very used to it. Especially because she was the only girl out of two boys, a twin actually. So, she wasn't planning to sticking to Benny or Kelvin because they probably wanted guy time to check out the "the babes" that were roaming around this carnival. She was really surprised when Kelvin invited her to spend time with him. She noticed that he was staring at her throughout his performance but it was probably because she knew him and was a symbol of support to him? Stacy didn't really know.
"If Benny doesn't mind being alone?" Stacy asked Benny because she didn't want him to feel left out. There was nothing wrong with having a group of three! Well, that probably didn't sound very right, but she meant in the literal matter not the other way. However, Stacy could remember faintly that Cici wanted a piece of that hunk-a-cake and she was sure that the girl would show up sooner or later. She then turned to look at Kelvin while fixing the flower crown on her head, "Alright, let's go." she pulled on her fingers, stretching them and snapping the bone. It was another one of her terrible habits but she didn't really know what to do with her hands. Stacy wasn't the type of girl would just take a guy's hand, not even a close friends. It just completely took them off the market. At least one interested female would think that he's taken and she didn't want that to happen to Kelvin.
He deserved the attention. He was simply a great person and not to mention a performer. "The sun isn't burning so much as it was a few hours ago." Stacy commented, fanning herself slightly. Her flip-flops made that tlick tlick sound as she and Kelvin got further into where the stands were all lined up. She turned to walk backwards in front of him and asked, "What shall we do first?!"

Kelvin looked between his best friend, and one of his female best friends, the other female best friends where Champagne, his little rapping buddy, and Cici. The pump from the sensation of being on stage, killing it, with his best friend had started to calm down. It was just a unforgettable experience. But his attention shifted to the right now. He had the girl of his dreams standing in front of him. Kelvin was sure that Benny didn't mind being alone, if it meant Kelvin getting some alone time with Stacey. And besides, Kelvin knew Benny had something for Cici, and if it was a carnival, Kelvin knew Cici had to be somewhere around. He turned back to Stacey, waiting for his answer. And as soon as she agreed, Kelvin's heart skipped a beat.
Kelvin felt his wallet burn in his pocket. Calm down, impatient bitches, you will be spent. Kelvin thought to himself. As he walked down with Stacy, turning back and giving Benny a wink. He walked down towards the games with Stacey. "So. Did you like my song?" Kelvin asked. He didn't really wanna say it was about her, because first, fifty percent of the song had been offensive lyrics, and second, who the fuck wanted to admit their crush? Kelvin smiled Stacey asked about what they wanted to do. Kelvin shrugged. He looked around at the rides and the games. He saw one of the basketball games, where the hoops where small as shit, and the prices where big stuffed bears. "I'm going to win you a stuffed bear." Kelvin said, motioning for her to follow him. As he reached the game. The guy there said to him, "Three in a row if you wanna win the big one, two out of three for a medium, and one for a small one." Kelvin nodded, and paid the man up. "Hey, I know you! Your Kelvin Westfield! You play for LU. And, is that.. No, Mr Presidents daughter?" The man said. Kelvin nodded, then grabbed the three basketballs, not really wanting to be stopped by anyone at the moment. But obviously they would attract attention, Stacey would attract way more, thought.
Kelvin was a shooting guard for LU, so basically, he made shots, and defended well. He took a deep breath, and made the first shot. He grabbed the second ball, and in the ball went. If he wanted to win that stuffed bear for Stacey, he would have to make the last one. He shot the last one, and the ball went rolling around the hoop, and finally dropped in. Kelvin had half a mind to celebrate, jumping up and down. But he didn't, he calmed down, and handed Stacey the stuffed bear he promised her. "There you go." Kelvin smiled.

Champagne pursed her lips and smiled up at Jaden, then continued on walking with him to the area where the stands were, scanning the ground as she searched for the right words to explain how she got there. "Well, uh, after I got posted at LIU, I started ta' look for some internships at record labels," she tilted her head to the side, "and I came across one at Young Money, you know, and I thought I'd send in an application, considerin' I might as well give it a shot, right?" Champagne half-laughed, "Crazy thing... I got in!"
She shrugged like it wasn't a big deal, but the smile on her face revealed just how happy Champagne was about the opportunity, "I had to finish off my year at Long Island but the internship doesn't start 'til the end of summer, so," she smiled, looking up at him, proudly, "here I am."
Tugging gently on Jaden's hand, Champagne led him over to one of the lines to get a drink, and she continued, "Benny and my mom had to help me save up, but it's worth it, so... I'ma pay them back as soon as I can, when my career gets shot up," Champagne bounced back and forth on her heels, letting out a breath, slightly nervous, then her eyes lit up, remembering Jaden's mention of what school he went to, raising her eyebrows and turning to him again, "I'm starting my sophomore year at Landcaster this year, too!" she brought a hand to the side of her face, sheepishly with a giggle, twirling around a short piece of blonde hair with one finger, then looking down,
"I guess... we'll be seeing each other." Her eyes shifted back up to his, and she bit her lip.

When Champagne mentioned that she had gotten the internship at Young Money, a beaming smile appeared on Jaden's face. He figured that she didn't think it was such a big deal by the way she spoke of it so nonchalantly. However, to Jaden, it was actually very good news. It meant that she was closer to the industry where her aspired career was. Obtaining an internship while at school was the smartest thing a university or college student could do. Jaden knew this very well but he was sure that no hospital would want to intern a clueless person. "That's great, Champagne!" Jaden exclaimed enthusiastically as his eyes settled on her face.
What made him ever more excited about everything was that she was attending the same school. He rose an eyebrow while putting his sunglasses inside of his pocket, "We're going to the same school!" he was always very jubilant and obviously nothing had changed. He then thought for a second; didn't they meet at a carnival and now they had reunited, at a carnival? Jaden smiled to himself and to Champagne. If this wasn't a signal of their undying love then he wasn't sure what was.
Jaden had never laid eyes on anyone else after he and Champagne parted ways. He could never feel the chemistry, the desire and the love he felt for this particular lady. If that wasn't love then Champagne was one smooth criminal that stole his heart. However, he could see it in her eyes that she too felt something more for him. Jaden wasn't dumb nor was he blind.
"So, we're at a carnival again." Jaden commented, placing his hands inside of his pockets before standing in front of her and asked her, "Is your name really Tequila?" hoping that perhaps it would bring back some memories.

The past is in the past and it cannot be changed. That was what Alec believed. He was incredibly forgiving and never judged others because he knew what it was like to be on the receiving end. Even though the Daniels and Richards were family friends, Alec didn't know too much about Vanessa's background and while he would love to sit down for story time, it didn't change the fact that the two got along better than cheese and crackers.
While he is very intelligent and hard working, Alec wasn't all that innocent. He's had his fair share of experiments, whether it be drugs or alcohol, but finds the hype to be overrated. Still, he was glad he gave it a shot, just to kill the curiosity. However, these days Alec has a nice cold beer after work every now and then, but he would never pressure anyone else to drink with him.
"Cotton candy? I love sweet things," he said softly, closing the distance between their bodies and looking down at Nessa's face. Alec was a tease and well aware of it. He couldn't help it, though. That accent and those doe eyes was just too cute for him to stay away. "Coke and corn dogs? I'm down," he laughed, walking arm-in-arm with her.
When Vanessa suddenly stopped, Alec turned to look at her and then followed her gaze. "It's yours," he said with a silly grin before approaching the booth. "Hey," he greeted the worker. "So, what are the rules?" he asked, reaching in his back pocket for his wallet to pay for a game. Maybe two.

Champagne raised an eyebrow when Jaden mentioned them being at a carnival, and then a huge grin spread out across her face in realization, remembering the day they first met, looking back on it, so long ago, raising a hand to her face, "Oh my god, we did," she scrunched her eyebrows, then looked at Jaden when he asked the same first question he did that day and laughed, hitting his arm lightly, then shaking her head, looking down to her chains, lifting up the same gold Chanel one she always wore, still shiny to date.
"Nah, nah, see," she cocked her head to the side, mocking her younger self, "my name is Champagne Chandelier," she tried to contain her laughter, smiling with her eyes, then glanced over at the stand that they'd been in line for, "Now, I cannot wait to get some of that," she pointed over to one of the drinks, "in my mouth." Champagne began laughing at herself, "Man, I spoke fluent ratchet, I was a G."
She looked over to the stand, seeing that it was their turn, "But, forreal, I really need some of that water in my mouth right nah," she pointed again, before spinning around and paying for a bottle, opening it the second it was in her hands and taking a huge chug, gasping for air, "Damn, my throat is dry," she shook her head, "been singing all week. Wears me out way more than rapping eva' did."
