Which is good for him in basketball. He is tall, somewhat light, dark skinned and has nappy hair. His hair is in a minor afro, being with little curls. He has brown eyes. He has unusually large feet, giving him the nickname bigfoot, like his freakishly large legs. I SAID HOW DO YOU LIVE AS A FUGITIVE, LIKES: He loves Basketball, martial arts, and pretty much anything that'll keep him active. He loves music, and using his basketball scholarship to major in music. He raps, sings, and makes music. He loves to drink and party. Again, being active, and socializing. Whether it be flirting with a girl, or just having a good time, he likes to. DISLIKES: Racism. He had been discriminated against plenty of times back in North Carolina. Being interrupted while making music. Not being able to be active, and being bored. HABITS: Usually starting the morning by playing basketball Staying up late at night, finishing music. FEARS: To get injured, not be able to play basketball, and lose his scholarship. Being stuck in small spaces. He hates them. OVERALL:Kelvin is a fun-loving, flirty, passionate guy. He loves music, he loves sports, and loves to party. He could be called the class clown, but can also be serious, being known at times to give really good and spiritual advice from past experiences. He has claustrophobia, and is scared of losing his scholarship due to injury. He is committed to sports and music, starting the morning by playing a bit of basketball, and staying up late to make music. And when his not doing either, he loves to party, socialize, or hang out with his friends. DOWN HERE WHERE I CANNOT SEE CLEAR, HISTORY:Kelvin grew up in North Carolina, with his Grandmother, and his mother, a strong independent black woman, along with his older sister, and younger brother. He lived in a quiet neighborhood, living next to what his mother refereed to as "Peckerwoods" or in other words, White People. He was alright living there, although there was the occasional racist person, who tried to fight him, or insult him. He was constantly getting bullied, until at school he got in with the wrong crowd. The drug dealers, ex cons, gang members. And until they taught him to fight, he was being protected by them. And then after a while. During his time with the gang, he met a boy named Jacob, whom showed him how to make music. And they where the best of friends, until one day, in the middle of a drug deal, which Kelvin was present in, a fight broke out, and Jacob died in the line of fire. Kelvin had been sent to move with his distant father at the age of 13, after the fight, a retired basketball player from Spain, who rarely paid Kelvin any attention, and who lived in a giant house in California, but had his moments. When he bought Kelvin his first basketball, and showed him how to play. And little by little their relationship grew some more. Until one night when a robber entered the house, Kelvin's dad had fought off the robber enough for Kelvin to get out, but his dad died due to the robber killing him with a knife. From that moment on, Kelvin had decided not to get too close to people, first losing his best friend, and then his father. He moved back to his mothers house at the age of 15, and had been sent to a different school. Where he had started to get more committed to basketball, and music. And all throughout Middle School, and High School he was committed to that. And becoming popular, having lots of people become his friends. But never letting anyone ever get close, except his family, whom he would do everything for. Until he would become best friends with a kid on his team. And slowly, but starting to, let people become his friend. But his friend moved, at least he hadn't died. Due to his basketball skills, he had been offered a scholarship to the school his grandfather and grandmother had gone to, Landcaster. He accepted the offer, and now he is there.

I feel like Champagne and him would either get along, or Kelvin would be weirded out by her... unless he's okay with that, in which case, Champagne would be happy to be his weird friend?

Champagne is all about fun, keeping herself busy by doing absolutely anything. I feel like since she's so much shorter than him she'd constantly try and challenge him to play a game of ball, like, "Aye, c'mon, les' play, I can do dis, you wanna go?" and then she'd be really bad at it, but at least she'd have a smile on the whole time. She's in music production, so she's probably asked him to help her out with some projects and whatnot, asking him to come into the studio on campus to record a track or two with her, helping him get his name out, "I got chu, boy."

As long as she shows no signs of having any lover for Weezy, they'd be fine.. Fuck Weezy. But anyway, Kelvin majoring in music, and her in music production, they could be a good team. Kelvin would probably see her as a sister, and if they ever went around anywhere, like maybe the hood or something, he'd probably be protecting her like a father. Be like, "Follow me if you don't wanna get shot." xD.

But yes, that is perfect. Now.. Should they already know each other, or do you wanna make a thread where they meet and shit. I find it more easy just to make them already know each other.

Hmm...I can see Kelvin and Nadi meeting up in the gym or playing basketball together. She'd be terrible at it xD But would love shooting hoops none-the-less, whenever she actually makes a basket. They'd both stop and scream, high-fiving.

Nadi can be a little shy first approaching people but once she's friends, she's a keeper (but can get a bit bossy >__> ). I can see it one morning he was playing basketball and she was just out on a morning walk and the ball rolled away to her feet so she tossed it back then asked if he wanted someone to play with.

She'd kick off he wedge shoes and maybe he'd be excepting talent, but NOPE.
Nadeen just would enjoy playing.

If he's not so trusting with people I can see this (and the gym) being their routine for a while XD;; Hahaha, she'd eventually leave him alone though so he can get real practice in. Bring him muffins for breakfast if she has any made up.

Kelvin would LOVE Nadi. Find her adorable. I like that Idea, that if Nadi where to score, Kelvin would pick her up, and celebrate as if they had scored a goal in the final of the World cup. Kelvin is getting into the routine of letting people close again, and now that we have agreed she is in the group, it would be funny if Nadi acted like his mom. Bringing him breakfast would be a good start. xD

She would. Nadi has a bad habit of momming people at times, just since she lost hers at a young age, she had just sort of adapted to that role with her friends.

dime refers to kelvin as "westfield" partially because he's english and partially to be an ass. they probably had some core classes in the past and though i doubt they really interacted a WHOLE lot, i'm sure kelvin noticed dime being horrible to others--considering kelvin's history, dime's "i'm going to do whatever i can to push you over the edge" ways probably don't sit right with him.

i feel like there could be a lot of really good anger between these two--dime usually doesn't care what others think about what he's doing but if they try to interfere it'll cause problems and kelvin seems like the type to step in. what do you think?

You are totally right. He would intervene.. xD. Maybe Dime is the Hannibal Lecter to Kelvin. If Kelvin gets pushed over the edge, he might end up fighting Dime too. I like what your saying, xD, Kelvin's first enemy. Maybe Dime finds the journal Kelvin keeps of his life, and his music, and he either

a) Tries to get him over the limit by sharing Kelvin's history of his friends dying, and his dad dying. And him being in a gang.

B) Copies one of his songs, and performs it at an event or something

nova is a character born entirely into tragedy.
her kidnapping incident and addiction to painkillers probably describe her better than anything else. she's secretive, shy at times and when she WANTS to be social people are intimidated by her and tend to steer clear. she has slight obsessive tendencies and lives with an even more obsessive person (kazek) so she's shrouded by darkness. perhaps kelvin could be the light for her in some way?

Okay, that is out of the way. Kelvin would treat Nova as a little sister and protect her, if he ever gotten to know her. He could invite her to move in with him. They both have gone through tragedy, and Kelvin could have her ease her way into the Swag Squad? XD
